Jed Walker went to work for Cunningham Graves in 1984 after graduating from Texas A&M. Bob Allen soon became Jed’s mentor and coach as they worked together on many successful land development projects throughout the 1980s.

The oil and gas, real estate, and savings and loan crisis led Jed to engineering consulting work for the public sector – specifically for municipalities along the IH35 corridor from Austin to Fort Worth. Jed founded Walker Partners in 2004 which has methodically grown and strengthened to over 90 employees and 5 offices offering civil engineering and surveying services for land development and institutional projects; transportation projects (streets and roadways, streetscaping, aviation, and hike-and-bike trails; water resource projects (water supply, water treatment, wastewater collection, wastewater treatment, and water reuse); stormwater management, master plans, flood control, and hydrology and hydraulics (H&H) projects; and athletic complexes.

Today, Walker Partners and Cunningham Allen believe that we are much stronger together as a Team than we are as separate firms.
