Jana's experience includes over 25 years of involvement in the planning and approval of residential and commercial land planning projects of over 50,000 acres in Austin and surrounding cities of Cedar Park, Georgetown, Pflugerville, Round Rock, and Buda. She has thorough knowledge of City of Austin Land Development Code and regulations, as well as the Land Development Agreement between the Round Rock Independent School District and the City of Austin. She is familiar with Development Codes of the City of Round Rock and Buda.
Jana has a unique ability to navigate City approval processes for zoning, preliminary and final plats, site plans, construction plans and Managed Growth Agreements.
She is proficient in the preparation of applications and completed submittal packages to the various City, County, and State agencies; preparation of easement release applications and variance letters, as well as coordination of all agreements required between the developer and the appropriate City or County agency needed for approval of the project, such as joint access easement agreements, unified development agreements, construction improvements agreements, and subdivision construction agreements. She has extensive experience in coordinating the responses to review comments from the various City departments and meeting and negotiating with City staff reviewers to gain their approvals of the projects. She has thorough experience in the preparation of feasibility studies for various size projects in and around the Austin area and assessment of site plans prepared by architects and other planners and engineers.
