The project involved the addition of an indoor competition swimming pool, a heated outdoor lap pool, a heated outdoor leisure pool, a heated outdoor special events pool, a heated spa, deck space, and a poolside café. In order to accommodate these additions, modifications to existing dormitories and facilities were necessary. 

Cunningham|Allen, Inc. provided all civil engineering design and permitting for grading, drainage, new utility, and utility relocations as well as construction phase services. The design of the water, wastewater, and storm systems involved close coordination with the Architect, other consultants, and University Staff to design temporary services and relocations as necessary to ensure that services to existing facilities are not interrupted. 

CAI’s role also included assisting the Architect and other out of State consultants through the City of Austin permitting process.
