Engineering Designer

 

  • Engineering Designer is an integral part of our team for site civil land development design projects in Central Texas. Work in a professional environment for a company with a great reputation in Central Texas with 35 years in the engineering professions.

    You will be providing design support to managers and engineers for commercial and residential land development projects and government projects.

    • Work with engineers, sketches or red-lines to prepare plans, profiles, and detail drawings in AutoCAD Civil 3D

    • Assist in site layout

    • Develop construction documents.

    • Determine and plan the best approach following company standards to complete drawings with minimal supervision

    • Inform Project Manager(s) of progress on assigned projects and request work when needed

    • Maintain organized work area to allow access of project information by other team members

    • Flexible in work assignments and team assignments

    • Multiple years' experience in civil design in the Central Texas area

    • Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D

    • Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing multi-step tasks

    • Ability to work independently within a team environment

    • Must be flexible to changes in work assignments on short notice and/or on a daily basis as changes occur in project needs

    • Teamwork and communication skills to work in a fast paced environment dedicated to meeting deadlines

    • Willing to occasionally work overtime

    • Willingness to learn and expand capabilities
